On May 29, the Public Project Office of the Senate, together with the analytical center MIND and Chapter Zero Kazakhstan, held a round table on the topic: "Challenges of climate change: adaptation and counteraction?". This discussion brought together representatives of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, experts and business leaders to analyze climate risks that are relevant to the public sector and business, as they, first of all, have a significant impact on the well-being of all citizens.
Representatives of government agencies and leading businesses discussed not only climate initiatives and the latest scientific research, but also talked about planned measures to adapt to climate change nationwide.
