At the conference "The Path to Decarbonization," held on October 30 in Astana, Chapter Zero Kazakhstan brought together leading experts and leaders to discuss pathways to sustainable development and climate resilience for the country. The focus was on an ambitious agenda aimed at advancing the green economy and fostering responsible climate governance, supported by the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, EBRD, AIFC, KazEnergy, ORMEX, the ECOJER Association, INSEAD, TotalEnergies, ACWA Power, KPMG Kazakhstan, and McKinsey & Company.
During the conference, three strategic memorandums were signed with INSEAD, ORMEX, and the ECOJER Association. The partnership with INSEAD opens new horizons for Kazakhstani leaders in climate governance, enabling the adoption of advanced international practices at the board level. The agreement with ORMEX focuses on supporting green technologies and sustainable agriculture, which are key to reducing the country’s carbon footprint. Meanwhile, the memorandum with the ECOJER Association aims to promote the development of the green economy and support local initiatives for sustainable growth. 🤝🏻🌐🌿
