Huseyin Ozhan

Hüseyin Özhan is Director, Head of Kazakhstan at EBRD. He has more than 20 years of experience in finance and investments across the EBRD regions in diverse sectors. Mr. Özhan is also the Deputy Chairman of Kazakhstan Foreign Investors’ Council Association and member of AmCham and Eurobak in Kazakhstan.
Huseyin joined EBRD in Transport/Infrastructure team in Istanbul. He took up Head of Ankara and Deputy Head of Turkey positions in 2015 and 2017, respectively. Huseyin then moved to London as Advisor to VP Banking, whose remit extended to all EBRD Country offices in 2019. He finally took up his current role on 1 September 2021.
Prior to joining EBRD, Hüseyin worked as a Sector Head for Corporate Banking and Structured Finance department at EurobankTekfen. Previously, he was involved in a number of infrastructure transactions including energy and telecoms in the CIS and the Balkans.
Huseyin holds a B.A. with honours in Economics and Mathematics from Macalester College, Minnesota, M.A. in Finance and a Ph.D. candidate from Yeditepe University, Istanbul.
